회장단과 고문 선생님 여러분,
그리고,미국작가들의 작품을 인수.전시, 다시 발송까지 겹겹히 힘든 과정을
묵묵히 뒤에서 감내해주신 김미연 선생님과
익산까지의 전시 운반.설치,
그리고 다시 반송되어오기까지 어려운 일을 맡아 하신 조수경회원.
그리고 지방 회원들..또 좋은 작품 만들어 발표하신 회원분들...
모두 수고많으셨습니다.
한 해 한 해...점점 발전하는 한국 칠보작가들의 작품을 소개하면서 마음이 벅차오릅니다.
이번 전시에 참가한 미국 작가들도 작품을 잘 받았다는 인사와 함께,
전시에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 주어 감사하다는 인사를 보내왔습니다.
이번 전시도록이 아주 훌륭하다면서 칭찬을 해주었고,
여분이 있으면 최근형성된 칠보재단에 기증하고 싶어하며 ,
혹시 도록을 매입할 수 있느냐고 가격을 물어왔는데.....
여러 입장을 고려한 후에, 김미연선생님과 의논후,
두 권을 기증하기로 했고...그렇다면, 한 권은 재단측에 ,
한 권은 미국 칠보협회도서목록에 소장하겠다고 합니다.
이번 참여작가작품들은 지난 번 웹하드에서 받아내린 40개의 파일을 축소(640x480 JPEG )하고,
작가명은 미국식표기로 , 이름>성>순으로 저장하여 첨부파일로 보냈습니다.
미국협회측의newsletter에 싣고 싶어하는데 이번 주가 마감이라해서, 가장 빠른 이메일로.
아래글은 제가 그 동안에 받은 여러 이메일 중, 작품 반송후 받은 감사의 글이니 참고로 읽어보시기 바랍니다.

The deadline is this week. It would be better to have work
from your exhbitors. And is it possible to get extra catalogues, and what would
be the cost? I think the newly formed Enamel Arts Foudation should have a
copy and would be happy to purchase one to donate to them.

오랫만입니다. 아직 서울에 계시는 지...?!
